Insecurities Let Dominance Live

Insecurities Let Dominance Live
by Khari D. Hawke

I walked into your world and could no longer breathe

Something in the air had paralyzed my body and I wanted to leave

But then I convinced myself I had to stay, because you argued with me to get your way

I had entered not knowing what was to come

I wanted what you wanted so I had to give to get some

What a trade we made that day

All because you wouldn't have it any other way

So now I'm your and you are mine

I want us to maintain what we got so I can't mess up this shot

I constantly remind you that in order to work we must agree

So you keep your mouth shut and let me work the show

I know what you crave

let me be your affectionate slave

you demand you get

but it's me you can't save

I want whats real, I want whats true

is that something you can do?

I hope and pray it is

cuz if not the soda will start to fizz

and soon it will explode in front of your face

and all the memories if us will begin to erase

So just shut up and let me run the show

I know what it is you crave
and even though me you can't save

I think God has an escape route already paved!
