A true actor at his best show
He left me dazed and confused
I wanted so much to let him go
But my heart could not refuse
A deep cut birthed the scars of memories
To each lie he would tell
For he became an entrapped misery
And I, a victim of a love spell
My heart cries out to be set free
My soul soars with eagerness
I fall weak once again to his plea
Then again embrace him with forgiveness
The cycle continues but I become stronger
Friends lessen as colors show truth
The reflection of my voice shouts for hunger
For a chance my heart can renew
Now my loneliness can be a blessing or curse
Even though its good I got away
But my heart still beats his lies rehearsed
But his memories will fade in passing days
A true actor at his best show
He left me dazed and confused
I wanted so much to let him go
But my heart could not refuse
A deep cut birthed the scars of memories
To each lie he would tell
For he became an entrapped misery
And I, a victim of a love spell
My heart cries out to be set free
My soul soars with eagerness
I fall weak once again to his plea
Then again embrace him with forgiveness
